We had some nice weather during the first part of last week and Nora was thrilled to finally get out of the house!
She blew bubbles.
She rode her tricycle.
She colored with sidewalk chalk.
All in all, she spent about 3 hours outside on Monday afternoon (and then it rained for most of the rest of the week – poor girl!).
Isaac is getting to be very alert for at least a few hours each day.
He likes to hang out and look around.
He likes to chill out on his activity mat and kick the toys.
Sometimes he stops kicking for a bit to look at the toys or look around.
Nora is a great big sister to Isaac. She’s always bringing him toys and offering to help us with his diapers. She also likes to entertain him during his tummy time.
Here she is showing him his face in the mirror on his tummy time mat.
Nora's sulky teenager photo. She hasn't wanted her picture taken this week, so she's making this face in most of them.
With Mare, Michael, Benjamin, Ray, and Diane at Benjamin's Christening party.
Next week, hopefully we’ll have some more chipper-looking pictures of Nora to share. Although honestly, the screaming and covering her face whenever she sees the camera is kind of comical…
Note: Nora wanted to wear her bear in a sling "like [we] wear Isaac" so that the bear could roller skate with her. I think that this is the cutest thing in the world.
Nora turned 3 this week! How is that even possible?! We kept her home from school and had a fun day with her.
The birthday girl first thing in the morning
She wanted a Dora balloon for her birthday, so Daddy went out and found this one for her.
We spent about 4 hours at the Please Touch Museum on her birthday. Here she is "working" the snack cart in the park exhibit.
Playing at the water exhibit.
Racing wooden animals.
Cupcake!
Blowing out the candles.
Yum!
Nora with Daddy, Isaac, and her new Hello Kitty doll.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the birthday party we'd planned for this weekend due to the snow. She enjoyed playing in it, though!
The next few pictures are unrelated to Nora’s birthday, but they’re still cute. Enjoy.
Just for Michael: Isaac in his penguin shirt.
Isaac and his teddy bear. Daddy is going to try to remember to retake this picture periodically to show how Isaac is growing. Please forgive the mismatched outfit in this particular shot.
Isaac Siddhesh was born January 22, 2010 at 9.09 PM. He weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces and was 22 inches long. Nora is thrilled about her new little brother and we’re all doing well!
